Subterranean ECO Dwelling Proposal, Huddersfield
Cadvis3d was commissioned to design an underground eco house in December 2011, located on green belt land, in the village of Helme in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The brief was to provide an energy efficient, modern house which would blend within the green belt and have very low running costs.
The dwelling consists of an Open plan kitchen/diner, Lounge, Summer room, Cinema room, master bedroom with luxury en-suite, Family Bathroom, Family Shower room and two additional double bedrooms. Along with an attached garage and private courtyard, the scheme is completely hidden from the view and constructed in recycled and reclaimed materials, all sourced locally.
